Ira S. Nordlicht
Ira S. Nordlicht founded our firm in 1987 after tenures as a partner at a major New York City law firm, with the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and the Federal Trade Commission. Mr. Nordlicht is a seasoned business advisor and has represented clients on a broad range of legal issues. He has particular expertise in areas of complex international business transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, and issues affecting life science companies. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Jusmedico, a European law firm specializing in representation of clients in the life sciences industry. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Nordlicht has served since 2000 as Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of Alfa Wassermann, Inc., a privately-held company, and has served as a director of several other companies, both public and private, providing him with a high level of real world insight into business operations. Mr. Nordlicht received a B.A. degree in Economics from Harpur College and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
Brian M. Hand
Brian M. Hand has over 30 years of experience representing public and private companies and entrepreneurs across a broad spectrum of legal issues. His areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, secured finance, corporate governance, technology licensing, commercial contracts, formation and organization of corporations, limited liability companies and other entities, research and development collaborations, executive employment and compensation (including 409A compliance), employee relations and commercial leasing. Mr. Hand serves as a member of the Board of Directors and corporate Secretary of a number of companies. He is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and the Business, International and Science and Technology Law sections of the American Bar Association. Mr. Hand has a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law (1986), where he was a member of the Urban Law Review, and a B.A. in Political Science from Queens College of the City University of New York (1982).
